The Trailblazer doesn’t really compare with its standard ECOTEC 1.3L turbocharged 3-cylinder motor, 155 horsepower, and 174 lb.-ft. of torque. It's worth noting that both of these models have a standard engine stop-start system that conserves energy by halting the motor while you are at a standstill on Worcester Highway.
Interior
Don’t discount the importance of a comfortable interior! The car you drive should take your relaxation seriously, and the 2025 Volkswagen Taos does exactly that with its standard heated leather-wrapped steering wheel. This prepares you for winter weather, while the 2025 Chevy Trailblazer doesn’t offer such a luxury except on higher trims. Additionally, the Taos is a compact SUV that provides you with available ventilated front-row seats to combat the sweltering heat of summer here in Berlin. However, you won’t find such a feature if you were to go with the Trailblazer. Both cars have optional heated front chairs, but it is clear which model values your comfort the most.
Exterior
In terms of appearances, the Volkswagen brand certainly knows how to make an impact. The 2025 Taos comes standard with LED headlights with an automatic on-off function. The Trailblazer has a similar feature, but it does not offer the same optional Adaptive Front Lighting system that its competitor does. Furthermore, only the Volkswagen SUV has a standard set of roof rails that accentuate the top of the car. To make sure you are not distracted by a sudden storm on your way to Stephen Decatur Park, the Taos comes standard with automatic rain-sensing windshield wipers.
