- U.S. Military Retirees
Qualifying first responders include those who hold the position of:

How can the $500 Military and First Responder Bonus be used?
The $500 VW Military and First Responder Bonus can be used to purchase or lease a new, unused Volkswagen model from select model years. Qualifying models exclude the Golf-R.
To get the bonus, proof of eligibility (and residency of family household member if applicable) is required. When obtained, the bonus goes towards the selected model’s MSRP, so don’t get any ideas; it’s not available for cash.
One bonus can be utilized per VIN, and an individual can receive a bonus on up to two VW vehicles per year. Fleet customers are not eligible.
